About Me

I am a Birmingham native and have lived and worked here most all of my life. Growing up my father's engineering profession took our family to Salt Lake City. We lived there for 8 years then came back home to Birmingham in 1972. Thru out my life I have traveled all over the United States and have not found anywhere I like better than the Birmingham Area. I am very proud of my city and look forward to watching it evolve over the upcoming years. Before entering the Real Estate Profession I was a general contractor specializing in residential construction. My building background has benefited me immensely with my Real Estate career. For relaxation I enjoy playing the piano, wood working, golf and stained glass projects.

To earn a designation, a REALTOR® a real estate agent has taken coursework and demonstrated specific skills, performance and knowledge in a particular area of the real estate industry. I am proud to have the following designations.

ABR® The Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) designation is for real estate buyer agents who focus on working directly with buyer-clients at every stage of the home-buying process.

SRES® The SRES® designation course seeks to instill knowledge and understanding of and empathy for 50+ real estate clients and customers. Develop the business building skills and resources needed for specialization in the 50+ real estate market.

CDPE A Certified Distressed Property Expert® (CDPE) has a thorough understanding of complex issues in today’s turbulent real estate industry and knowledge of foreclosure avoidance options available to homeowners. CDPEs can provide solutions, specifically short sales, for homeowners facing market hardships.

CSP This designation is achieved by successfully completing a comprehensive course designed to promote a greater knowledge of the factors and forces that influence new home sales and construction. A broad understanding of how the home building process works is essential for the Certified New Home Sales Professional (CSP).
